From 22 July to 2 August 2018, our HKAIH coaches led their students to the ice hockey summer camp in Stockholm, Sweden. Throughout the 12-day camp, our players had an opportunity to receive ice hockey training at Hovet, the home arena of Djurgården Hockey, one of the oldest and most successful hockey clubs in Europe. In addition to on-ice practice, the players also had dryland and theory sessions. The sharing session with Marcus Krüger, a professional Swedish ice hockey player who is currently playing for Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League, was the highlight of the Sweden summer camp. Apart from training, the students also visited the city to explore the culture of Sweden. It was such an eye-opening experience for them to understand hockey training system in Sweden!
