Coaching Section

Our General Manager (Coach), Barry Beck, is well experienced in running ice hockey programs in Canada. He also has been operating a hockey school for eight years immediately before coming to Hong Kong. Coach Beck is a former professional hockey player who had been the captain of the New York Rangers for 5 years. In addition, he was a Memorial Cup MVP, an inductee of Canada's B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame, a Canadian National Team Member twice and a N.H.L. Allstar 5 times. He has vast experience as well as passion and heart for the sport of ice hockey and will be able to bring his expertise to the ice in Hong Kong.

Tan Anqi is a former Chinese Women Ice Hockey Team player since 2002 and experienced different international games such as the World Championships, the Asian Winter Games, and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Anqi was awarded the certificates of World-class Athletes, State-level Athletes and National-level Athletes during her time in the Chinese Women Ice Hockey Team. Under the "Teen Youth Ice Hockey Development Program" coordinated by the HKAIH and the Chinese Ice Hockey Association, Tan Anqi was recommended by the Chinese Ice Hockey Association to join HKAIH and coach youths in Hong Kong from 2011 onwards.

Robert Kang is a Korean goaltender from Glen Rock, New Jersey. He has 17 years of playing experience in the U.S. and recently graduated from Saint Anselm College, located in Manchester , NH. At this institution, Robert played for the men’s ice hockey team during his four years there. Saint Anselm College competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East league as well as in the Northeast-10 Division II league.
