2013/14 Hong Kong School Ice Hockey League Championship Game
Po Leung Kuk No. 1 W.H. Cheung College wins the Gold Medal

(Hong Kong, May 28, 2014) Organized by the Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club and with Principal Global Investors (Asia) Limited as the Title Sponsor, the 2013-14 Hong Kong School Ice Hockey League Championship Games (HKSIHL) were successfully completed on May 27.

Congratulations to Division A Champions, Po Leung Kuk No. 1 W.H. Cheung College (PLK No. 1) with a score of 1-0 versus Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG). Falcon Wong was selected as the MVP of the league for his dedication and effort during the playoffs and throughout the season.

This is the 4th year that Po Leung Kuk No. 1 WH Cheung College has participated in the HKSIHL and also their 4th time being the Champions of the league. Before the final game started, CEO of Principal Global Investors (Asia) Limited, Mrs. Carmen Lam, along with Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey (HKAIH) General Manager Coach Mr. Barry Beck, Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club (HKAHC) Director Mr. Laputa Poon, Supervisor of Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Ms. Fanny Yu, Principal of Po Leung Kuk No. 1 Mr. Chau Chor Shing, Vice Principal of YPICA Lee Lim Ming College Mr. Kwok Yun Wai and Principal of Wah Yan College, Kowloon Mr. Chung Wai Leung, along with the two championship game team captains, gathered for the Drop Puck Ceremony before the Championship Game between PLK No. 1 & HKFYG.

The game was off to an exciting start with both teams giving their best. No goals were made in the 1st period, and finally in the 2nd period, Falcon Wong from PLK No. 1 scored a goal, earning the team the Gold Medal for the Championship Game.

The 3rd place game was well played by YPICA Lee Lim Ming College and Wah Yan College, Kowloon, with Wah Yan College, Kowloon scoring 4 goals in the first 2 periods and YPICA Lee Lim Ming College and Wah Yan College, Kowloon each scoring a goal in the last period. The 2nd runner up went to Wah Yan College, Kowloon while YPICA Lee Lim Ming received the 3rd runner up.

MVP player Falcon Wong was honoured to receive the award and would like to thank his teammates for their support throughout the season. Captain of the HKFYG team Kordio Cheng stated that the team will continue to work hard in the coming year and aim for the Gold medal in the next season.

The Division B Championship Game was also a great game played by Wah Yan College Hong Kong and Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School. The final score was 4-1 with Wah Yan College Hong Kong being the Champions of Division B.

Principal Hong Kong has been the Title Sponsor for the HKSIHL for four consecutive years. Mrs. Carmen Lam from Principal Global Investors (Asia) Limited is glad to see that students are actively participating in the sport of ice hockey with endless enthusiasm and mature skills. It is evident to see the growth of the students through their practical experiences. With Hong Kong National Teams participating in the 2014 Ice Hockey World Championships this year, there is definitely a clear path for the growth of these young players who loves the sport so much.

2013/14香港校際冰球聯賽決賽圓滿結束
保一成學界四連霸 青協奮戰屈居亞軍

（香港，2014年5月28日）由香港業餘冰球會主辦，信安環球投資（亞洲）有限公司冠名贊助，2013-14香港校際冰球聯賽決賽在5月27日於Mega Ice 圓滿舉行。

在此首先祝賀保良局第一張永慶中學校隊以1分之差力壓香港青年協會隊勇奪第一組別冠軍！而黃奕朗更獲大會選為最有價值球員以表揚他在賽事中所付出的努力以及出色的表現。

這已經是保良局第一中學第四年參加香港校際冰球聯賽，亦是他們第四次奪得此項聯賽的冠軍寶座。當日在決賽正式開始前，冠名贊助商信安環球投資（亞洲）有限公司行政總裁林黃慧貞女士、香港冰球訓練學校總經理及教練包比利先生、香港業餘冰球會理事潘嘉華先生、香港青年協會督導主任余艷芳女士、保良局第一張永慶中學校長周楚成先生、恩平工商會李琳明中學副校長郭潤偉先生以及九龍華仁書院校長鍾衞良先生，聯同決賽兩支隊伍的隊長，一同主持開球典禮。

決賽甫一開始氣氛已經十分緊張，兩隊均立即顯示出他們的本領。在第一節比賽中，兩隊勢均力敵，互相抗衡，雙方均難以取得任何入球進帳。在此後兩節中，
保良局第一中學的黃奕朗憑着出色的技術攻陷香港青年協會的龍門，奪得酋定勝局的1分；雖然香港青年協會隊奮力反擊，可惜為時已晚，最後由保良局第一張永慶中學奪得是次聯賽冠軍！

季軍賽由恩平工商會李琳明中學對戰九龍華仁書院。在比賽初段九龍華仁採取主動的策略先為球隊在首兩節連奪４分，雖然李琳明中學急起直追，在第三節中反攻入一球，但仍不敵對方的強勢。最終九龍華仁書院在季軍戰以5-1壓倒恩平工商會李琳明中學勇奪聯賽季軍。

最有價值球員黃奕朗表示獲得大會頒受這獎項感到十分榮幸，同時他覺得得到這項殊榮他的隊友功不可沒，十分感謝他的隊友們。而香港青年協會隊隊長鄭正浩表示未來一年必定會更努力練習，目標是希望能奪得明年冠軍！

而同場上映由香港華仁書院對戰保良局蔡繼有學校的第二組別決賽亦同樣為一場緊張的賽事，兩隊均戰意高漲，氣勢激昂；最終香港華仁書院以4-1擊敗蔡繼有學校奪得是次決賽的冠軍。

今年已是信安香港第四年贊助香港校際冰球聯賽，信安環球投資（亞洲）有限公司行政總裁林黃慧貞女士表示很高興同學們多年來積極參與及對冰球運動的熱誠有增無減，而球技亦日趨成熟，可見同學們在寶貴的實戰經驗下茁壯成長。在2014年中，港隊在國際賽事上的參與率明顯提高；這正好為一眾年輕球員帶來奮鬥的目標，將來加入港隊為港爭光。
