On the first day of the Easter holiday (18/04/2025), the Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey, with the sponsorship of MTR Corporation and in collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups – LOHAS SPOT and LOHAS Rink, organized the TKO Ice Hockey Training Program - CSR Fun Day. With the assistance of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups – LOHAS SPOT, we successfully recruited over 200 children to participate in this event.
The event was held vibrantly at LOHAS Rink, with an enthusiastic atmosphere, and both the participating children and their parents were filled with anticipation. The activity was led by a team of professional coaches from the Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey, who provided basic skating guidance to children experiencing ice sports for the first time.
During the event, the 200 young participants, under the guidance of the professional coaching team, started from scratch—learning how to put on ice skates, stand balanced, and other fundamental skating skills. The coaches patiently demonstrated each movement, enabling the children to safely and happily grasp the essentials of moving on ice.
The successful execution of this event would not have been possible without the full sponsorship of MTR Corporation, which provided valuable resources to support community sports development.
