Buddhist Wai Yan Secondary School in Cheung Chau (02-06-2009)

The HKAIH had the pleasure of taking a short boat ride to Cheung Chau for an in school demonstration with the Buddhist Wai Yan Secondary School. The students from the school had never ice hockey before but were shown the academy ice hockey video while also showing off the equipment to various students who volunteered to wear the equipment to show the protective aspects of the ice hockey gear. The HKAIH would like to thank the school for their hard work and diligence and hope we can form strong ties and perhaps even bring some of their kids out onto the ice to learn a bit more about the coolest sport on earth.
