ASN Features HKAIH Ice Hockey Series

With a view to promoting and developing the sport of ice hockey, Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey (HKAIH) has partnered with All Sports Network (ASN) to produce and present a series of ice hockey features on TV. The ice hockey series has a total of 12 episodes of around 4-5 minutes each and will be screened during NHL games on ASN Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand from November 20, 2009 onwards.

ASN broadcasts exclusive, thrilling action from some of Americaˇ¦s biggest sports leagues including the National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL), NCAA college championship basketball and football, NASCAR and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).  Other exciting programs include Formula Drift and extreme sports.  With about 20 new games or events per week, ASN brings to Asian audiences more American sports action than ever before.

HKAIH was established in 2007 with the goal of promoting and developing the sport of ice hockey among the local youth community, including the less fortunate.

The TV series features different stories about the development of ice hockey in Hong Kong. We hope that through this TV series, people will learn more about the sport and ice hockey will eventually become a sport for all in Hong Kong.
